my predictions:
Pats vs Broncos- Pats win. Yah, it's my team but they know how to get it done and this is not the same New England team Denver faced a few months ago. And let's not forget the rematch factor.
Seahawks vs Redskins- Seahawks win. The defenses are pretty even, but Seattle's offense has more options. I just don't see Washington being able to stop Seattle.
Panthers vs Bears- Panthers win. The Carolina team is essentially the same one that went to the Super Bowl two years ago. Chicago's defense is good, but they don't play offense. Until some QB on the Bears steps up, they will be a one game and out playoff team.
Steelers vs Colts- Steelers win. Yes, I said it. The Colts go down. Not because I am a Pats fan but because Pittsburgh is a very physical team, this could be a factor.
I'll even go as far as to predict snow during the Pitt/NE AFC Championship game at the Razor.

This is how it's gonna go
Pats at Denver= Denver wins
Steelers at Colts= Steelers
Your AFC championship game: Denver vs Steelers
Redskins at Seahawks= Redskins
Panthers at Bears= Panthers
Your NFC championship game: Panthers vs Redskins
Your super bowl will be one of these: Panthers vs Denver,Bears vs Denver,Steelers vs Bears, Steelers vs Panthers, Colts vs Panthers, Colts vs bears.

ty3c, atleast u admitted u were partially wrong, the loss of patriots has TWO bad reasons ,effing bad referees, literally were on the denvers side(When asante samuel got called for pass intereference, that was offensive, ashleigh lelee or w/e was holding his shoulder, and jason elams 50 yard had a false start on the line, PLUS the Champ Baily int return shoulda been called back for touchback, he fumbled the ball inside the effing pylon) and the fumbles...

No, the reason why the Pats lost was because they turned the ball over five times. They gave the Broncos 24 points on a silver platter.
Your first reason would be a non-factor if not for the turnovers. Your second reason's situation was based on one of the turnovers, a bad one. Brady underthrew the pass and didn't put the ball where only the reciever could get it.
You can't blame the refs for the loss. The Pats did it to themselves. Man, was this an ugly one, very uncharacteristic of a Patriots team. The AFC better watch out in 06.

Denvers D was awasome forcing the turnovers and brady is a different QB on the road his record on the road was 12 tds 12 ints!
lets think back last year
Super bowl 39: eagles vs pats.............................................. ..
Both teams are out this year....................
Super bowl XL: Panthers vs Steelers (ohhh this would be really good)
or.... Denver vs Panthers,Steelers vs Panthers.

Understatement...
I wonder what it feels like to have the entire city of Indy upset with you...
I'm kind of glad to see the steelers do so well. I'm hoping they'll make it to the super bowl.

damn im 6-2 now as well but i told u the steelers were gonna win. got lucky since bettis fumbled the ball on their own 2 yard line. damn taht kick was so far right. and they had just got down bragging a/b how good he was at home and blah blah then he shanked it so bad. ya taht sucks that the bears lost. over 400 yards allowed at home that never happened this year. they were averaging 253 agaisnt them during the regular season. they had there shots but they squandered them at the end. guess theres always next year for em...

for anyone who cares, I'm 6-2 as well. My only two losses were I thought the bucs might beat the skins, and that the pats would beat denver. =)
